Advanced Drawing

.  You have some drawing skills, and would like to do something with them.  This class will show you how to practice and hone your skills to your greatest advantage.  We will focus on creative drawing and how to draw with nothing in front of you as well as drawing from life.

Supplies needed.  Student is encouraged to bring the type of paper and tools he/she is most comfortable with or would like to learn more about. For class in detail, go to http://www.lynettestudio.com

Ideal:  

            •spiral sketchbook any size between 8” x 11” and 14” x 17”

            •#2 pencils and erasure

            •past sketches and goals.  What do you hope to learn here?

            •attitudes are welcome

Optional: 

            •sketchbook any size

            •pens, pencils, drawing tools of your choice

 

 

 

Lynette Yencho (aka Lynette Schmidt)  Started her career as an illustrator in 1968 at Josten’s here in Owatonna, and later in Redwing.  Since then she has applied her illustration skills in cartoon strips and editorials for Minneapolis Star and Tribune, Art Directed for Llewellyn Publications and lost count of how many book and magazine covers by the time she was 26.  Later applying herself in giftware design for Lenox, Hamilton, Bradford and Goebel to name a few.  Now, relocated in Owatonna, she freelances long distance and assists her husband’s photo business, Garden Studio.  Her recent works include a mural at the Owatonna Art’s Center and  her fifth children’s book, both in process.  Samples of her work can be seen at http://www.lynettestudio.com/
