Beginning Dog Obedience
Dogs should at least be 6 months old to begin training. Proof of rabies vaccination must be brought to the first class. The basic beginning obedience exercises will be taught (e.g., heel, sit, down, recall, stand (for examinations) and figure eights. There will be a required informational meeting (without dogs) on Tuesday evening, September 28th at 6:30 p.m. at Roosevelt School. Proper equipment needs will be discussed. This class is open to adults and students in 6th grade or older. Your instructor's love for dogs and her personal interest in their skill development will result in a rewarding experience for your pet. Please note: there is no class on Tuersday, November 2nd. Make up date is Wednesday, November 3rd.
